Marve and
Manori Beaches are among the most picturesque beaches that
Mumbai boasts of. These beaches are located at the distance
of approximately 19kms from Mumbai. The sheer scenic beauty
of these beaches with unspoilt sand is conspicuous with the
absence of the chaotic crowd of vendors that are so common
to Mumbai beaches.
You can enjoy the Sun and the Sea amidst complete silence
except the music of surging waves that you would love to
explore. Marve and Manori beaches are dotted with some of
the finely managed exotic private cottages built on the
backdrop of the vast Arabian Sea and gaping Sun, that make
these beaches all the more a tempting site to visit.
There is one ancient Portuguese Church at Marve and a grove
of Cashew nut trees that add to the beauty of this beach.
Along with Marve and Manori Beaches there is Gorai Beach
which too is equally popular among revelers. These three
locales are inhabited by Catholic natives of Mumbai, and the
kind of attire they wear along with old churches make the
region resemble to that of Goa's aura.
